⛸️ Should I Cap Fps In Csgo
The only time having an unstable uncapped FPS would be worse is if your uncapped FPS falls below the cap you would put it at (say you get 50 fps), which should never happen or it would happen even if you had it capped. In some games, framerate also controls game-speed (especially true with older games), but it also makes inputs feel smoother. The FPS on High settings in Valorant are : Avg FPS : ~140 Resolution : 1920*1080p I checked the GPU Usage (MSI AfterBurner) at it was near >90% usually. Is this normal for an RTX 3060 laptop because I think that's way too low. In CS Go, I use Nvidia overlay and it states 30% utilised, 60 FPS 30 ms. GPU on nitro sense is 0% . max Temp is 58.Video settings for Counter-Strike 2. The first tab of settings you need to adjust is Video. Here, you can change brightness, aspect ratio, and resolution. Resolution is mostly personal preference

If you have a quad core, putting "-threads 4" in launch options will give you a slight bump in performance depending on how powerful your cpu is.In-game limiters can reduce input lag more than RTSS does. But that does not mean that RTSS adds input lag. It does not. For example, if you get 93FPS uncapped, if you cap with RTSS to 92FPS, your input lag is reduced. I think the whole "RTSS adds input lag" thing is getting out of hand."
1 or even 2 FPS below your max refresh is usually enough to prevent you periodically slipping past 144 FPS and dipping into active vsync territory since frame rate limiting isn't perfect. 3 FPS below your max refresh is just recommended by Blur Busters since it gives you that little extra safety. ddusan. • 5 yr. ago. Download Version 7.3.5 Beta 5Download Version 7.3.4 Final. We've issued a new RTSS public build which is available for download here at the only official website you can download it from. Please Freesync+csgo. I just want to share something for those who WANTS to use freesync with csgo. You need to cap the fps below 140fps if you're using 144hz display. Using only vsync to cap makes the fps go over sometimes and disables freesync and you end up with only vsync = input lag. Turn off vsync and I had tearing. If your pc sits around 250fps in game, just cap your fps at 300, rather than than your pc putting in extra work to get that 320 fps peak in palace for it to drop 180 when you enter site. Your pc will strain and keep trying to achieve more fps if you dont cap. Because if you set fps_max 400 in cs go, then fps drops come, in the same
I suggest leaving the FPS cap at their default numbers. Although it can sometimes be helpful to cap your fps if you experience common fps drops, set it to slightly higher than what your fps is dropping to and your game wont stutter when it normally would if you get a fps drop. 1.
